January 26

Today has been ok. I struggled a bit with eating but ended up doing ok. I did not go to the gym but I did a lot of house work so I consider that a workout for today.

Water: 64 oz.

Food:
- Strawberry Special K Bar
- 10 ritz crackers with peanut butter
- 5 pergoies with a little cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 chicken and cheese enchilladas with tomatoes and lettuce (3 servings of vegetables)
- 1 Andes mints
- Cup of hot chocolate

I did not eat after 8:00

Here is today:

Food:
Cajun snack thing with nuts
Chicken salad pita
a couple chips
2 grilled cheese sandwiches
1/2 cup vegetable beef stew

I did not get in my vegetables/fruit. I probably only had 2 servings.

Water: 96 oz.!!!!!

Workout: 17 minutes, 1 mile on treadmill

I left work and had to be back an hour later for a workshop so I was not at the gym very long. I am just proud that I went!

I did not eat after 8:00.

Eating continues to be a struggle for me. However, I will not give up! I am excited about weighing in tomorrow.

January 23, 2008

Today was better than yesterday. I know going to the gym motivates me to be better during the day. Here is my summary.

Food:
Special K breakfast bat
Green and red peppers (2 servings)
15 pistachios
Small piece of applesauce cake
3 egg omelet with ham, cheese and mushrooms (2 servings of vegetables)
2 slices of rye toast

Water: 64 oz.

Workout: 45 minutes on the treadmill, average speed 2.8, 1.81 miles, difficult day

Goals: All accomplished


Go to gym at least 4 times a week (2 times so far)
Eat 4-6 servings of veggies and/or fruit a day
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day

Journal daily
No eating after 8:00pm

January 21, 2008

I am off to a very good start today. I went to the gym. My workout lasted 50 minutes. Here it is:

Treadmill: 3.3 average speed (highest 3.6) for 30 minutes, 1.8 miles (3 minute warm-up and 3 minute cool-down)
Exercise Bike: 14 minutes average level 2 (highest 3), 5 miles

I also weighed in this morning before going to the gym. I weighed 210. That is 4 lbs. less than the last time I weighed in! I am thrilled about that!

Food:
Low fat cottage cheese
Green and red peppers (2 servings)
8 Ritz crackers with a dab o f peanut butter
10 pistachios
1 tablespoon cream cheese frosting
Kielbasa and sauerkraut (1 serving)
Broccoli (1 serving)
¼ cup mashed potatoes
Milk

Water: 8 cups

Goals: All accomplished
Go to gym at least 4 times a week (1 time so far)
Eat 4-6 servings of veggies and/or fruit a day
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
Journal daily
